I love vintage, the old always seems new to me.

I've always liked old things. When I was young I was fascinated by the family heirlooms in Grandma's Hope Chest and the treasure's in my Great Grandma Nellie's cupboard. So when I decided to open a shop vintage was the way to go. I love finding things at estate sales and am always impressed with the quality and style of those pre mass market days.
I have a special love affair with paper in all it's forms. Old cards, photographs, advertisements, prints, and especially children's illustrations. I think it may be hereditary, my family saved every piece of paper they could find a place for.
And then there are the books. All the women in my family were readers and they saved their books and treated them well. I learned to do the same and as long as I can remember I have spent every extra penny on books.
I especially like finding vintage editions of books and records I have treasured and of course there are always those unique items that you simply cannot help but want perhaps for no reason at all except you know that they speak your inner language.

I also have collected and inherited hundreds of vintage and antique photos, cards, postcards, and other ephemera from the 1880s to the 1980s. Please ask if there is something you have an interest in but don't see in my shop, I most likely have just not gotten around to listing it. I love to do custom paper oders, confetti and ephemera packs. I so not charge more for custom orders unless there are special expenses involved.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Flat items are shipped in a acid free polly sleeve between two pieces of cardboard. Larger items such as books will be shipped in a poly sleeve either with bubble wrap and cardboard in a tear proof envelope or a box depending on size and fragility. Please message me if you would like your item gift wrapped.

Custom and personalized orders

I am happy to make a custom order for you, if there is a book you are looking for but don't see in my shop please ask, I have several hundred unlisted books. I also make custom confetti, available in many themes, colors, and made from vintage or modern paper. Coordinating tags, cards, or other party items are available. Let me help you plan a party!

What about the condition of vintage items?

With the exception of NOS (New Old Stock vintage items that are new never before used.) All vintage items come already having been used and loved, some more so than others. I try to describe each and every possible flaw or sign of use. Please look at the pictures and feel free to ask questions. I will happily provide more photos and answer any and all questions you have. If you a re a collector to whom condition is everything please contact me so I can be as specific as possible, I am happy to work with you to make sure my item meets your expectations.

What if I like your shop but don't see exactly what I'm looking for?

I have a background in reference librarianship and can find any book, record or item that is findable. I love a challenge and would be happy to help you track down that book you read as a child whose name you can't quite remember. I love a challenge!
